 Can't get bonks revenge going

Is my rom bad or something?? The game starts up but then the whole thing just closes with out an error message or anything. Oh and i'm running the windows version of 2.10. Any help would be much appreciated :)

Hi,
bank's revenge is supported (just played it).
But you're likely to have an US version, and the hugo 2.10 version doesn't recognize them automaticaly, you have to pass -u1 on command line to force US mode detection.
The next version automatically recognize those games (current CVS version does)

I tried it and all I got was a blank screen then I downloaded another one and got missing player sprites. I also tried the japanese version PC Genjin 2 and it basicly did the same thing. I'm guessing that it's an emulation problem though. Unless good tools was wrong about the roms.

There is a small bug in the 2.10 distribution of sprite.c that is fixed in the most recent CVS updates. To correct the problem you can either build from the CVS tree or you can download the 2.10 source and make the following changes to sprite.c :

no &= 0x7FF; // (changed from 0xfff )

no = spr->no & 2047; // (changed from 4095)

(Just search for 0xFFF and 4095 - then replace those values with 0x7ff and 2047 respectively.

Bonk's revenge should work fine with those changes.
